Thanks for the answers!

And I know your char will stay ingame if you don't have a leanto, does you char come back online when the leanto is destroyed while you are offline?

The best is never have to find out for yourself. Build a wall. Claim the whole thing. Put a brazier or two.
A claimed stone hedge - even without braziers - is enough to repel most of the newbies raiders who don't have the biles to bust it or don't really have time to do it. What I would suggest is to leave an empty chest at the outskirts of your claim. Not within your wall but still on your claim. If the raider is retarded he will check it out and will leave a scent. If he wants to come back to bust it down, this scent will be a warning. But do keep in mind that this raider needs to be retarded to fall to this simple trap. Thankfully most of them are barely smarter than an oyster. Hope that helps.

It's not retarded to check out a chest to see if someone is worth it or not. You only have have a half-way decent base to deter 90% of theivery. That means a wall, a claim, a CLOSED locking gate. Braziers and torches help.

As for the question, no you don't log on when you're leanto gets smashed, but when you log on next it will pop up as message saying your space has been occupied and shoot you to providence where you won't be able to log off afterwards.

Nope, If you are offline and your leanto is destroyed its like busting open a piñata, your clothes and inventory are dumped all over the ground.

They drop were the leanto was, I suppose, or where the character was?

Where the leanto was.

Thanks for the info!

Now I'd like to add a 4th question:
Why does ether not effect inspirationals?
Is this going to be changed?
From playing a ...long time ago, I remember this was different.

yes, once upon a time the multiplier went up to 10x and it affected inspirationals. Such times are now behind us :( I think it was for better balancing of proficiencies, considering the inspiration system currently in place.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Yes, I remmeber those 10x... but as its only up to 2x today, it would not really hurt to let the mulitplier effect inspirationals, it gives us one more thing of quality to trade.

One of the main reasons it doesn't affect inspirationals is because not all inspirational ingredients are affected by purity. We wanted to balance inspirationals in such a way that the rarer they are, the better, and adding the dimension of purity for some of them, but not others, just overcomplicated that. We've talked about eventually extending purity systems to include enough game items that inspirationals can be added back, but it's not something that's really on the list right now.

Yea, it*s difficult to balance because of that, but the multiplier is so low compared to former times, it should be possible.
