Tongue of snake and eye of newt
A spell to bind is our pursuit.
What has been wrought by full moon's light
Shall ignite the world, to our delight.
At Nod we'll meet to watch it burn
As forests writhe and oceans churn,
Upon the altar will our work be lain
That the fruits of our labors not be toiled in vain.
Then all will know of Maudney's curse:
Blood and tears, foreshadowed in this verse.
it irritated me that the last line did not follow the meter so I added a word to make it fit
