I find settling skill easy to get. First time i played is that made temporary camps then getting important skills before i could make my permanent home.
And i spend 0 silver just to get it.

PS2Forum wrote: The problem, as with many modern games, is that either the CEOs of the publisher that has no clue about gaming, or the devs themselves, consider the target playerbase to be utterly drooling moronic fools that would never be able to comprehend anything more advanced than "go here, shoot, respawn, go back".
I call it the Call of Duty syndrome.
Meanwhile they completely forget the success of complex games in the past, when OUR generation was nothing more than dumb little kids, yet we could STILL understand those games.
I was a dumb little kid when i played Civilization, yet i understood it. I played X2: The Threat, yet i understood it. I played Europa Universalis, yet i understood it. I played Phantasmagoria and Monkey Island and Flight Sims where you had to manually push every single button to start the fuel pumps and engines, yet i understood it.
Today, game devs / publishers (whoever is to blame for that particular game) assumes we're all a bunch of blithering idiots. It frankly offends me, and gives me less excitement for these games.
Civ 5 compared to Civ 4.
Microsoft Flight compared to Flight Simulator X.
The list grows every year. It's sad.
Not only is it caused by an assumption that modern gamers are absolute *******, it actually makes them more dumb too by never challenging their minds. I dread to imagine what games in 2022 will be like. If gamers today are brought up with the complexity of "press X, win". What will games in 2022 be like?

Now to address the other issue, of learning ability. You guys might think that if I learn 10 of X inspirational, and then learn 1 of Y inspirational, it resets the learning ability to 70%, but it doesn't. The displayed learning ability only shows up the % yield for that last curio you learned. So if you learn 5 crosses, and 1 flame, and see your LA is back to 70%, cursor over the crosses and you will still see severely diminished returns, meaning after a while it doesn't matter how many "filler" inspirationals you add, you still will be at 0% for the ones you are spam learning. I hope this post helps players in the future both understand the inspiration learning ability system, and helps players understand that it's not as hard as you might think to get settling.
