This case could be "cured" clientside. Forbid to send "drop" message directly from specific slots or for specific res-images.

Yes, Please :) Im pretty sure Im not the first or the last one who will drop their purse when trying to drop canoe into water. One missclick and there went a few hundred worht of silver.

And while we're on topic of pissing off loses, I believe it was mentioned before in another thread, but losing swords because of toolbelt mechanics is annoying as hell. Even the best case scenario, when you notice you droped it right away or forced to look for container before you'll drop it, is annoying, but you can lose your sword forever, if you don't notice the moment it dropped and that's easy, especially with rapiers, which are tiny. Possible solutions are so simple and obvious that I believe I don't even need to name them. Would be nice to have it fixed, unless you enjoy this kind of tears ofcourse.

Once the new UI hits which is in this coming patch we will have unlimited inventory space so you can consider that a fix.

While it won't be unlimited. It will also be quite impractical for things to drop to the ground after the inventory change.

1000 != unlimited.

Here's to hoping food & gluttony have been thought of before allowing us to have more than 30 inventory slots + 45 slot table. I am sure you thought of giving food a comparable weight to != more than 30ish inventory spaces :)

Even so, this will be the first thing I test and therefor, most likely all of us will abuse if not tested properly.
