I'm guessing crushing rubble will give sand which we can then sift in the hope of finding gold flakes, alternatively we can turn it into glass somehow.

I have to do this by guessing random names in the img server. I've tried everything I can think of and all the ideas already mentioned in this thread. Anyone have any new guess?

Edit:

I guess I do not get what you are trying to prove? Most of the objects were already guessed.

Prove? Uh nothing. This thread died and I just wanted people to keep guessing and taking about the patch, I thought some confirming would help that along.

New Finds:
Image
Sifting Pan : Finially got this one, had to tried every combination I could think of.

Image
Sparrow Eggs: I had to use a bird egg identification page to guess this one. This is why Salem is a great game.

Black Sand

This is an interesting one. Talk about a lucky guess. Something found through panning placer deposits. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_sand Any ideas what it could be used for. Wiki says it's magnetic.

So items in slot 18-19 appear to be some sort of gemstones, but I can't guess the names if that is the case. The wheel type things could be a jewler's wheel to polish stones, but that's a long shot.

Knew i was right with the sieve.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_sand
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Placer_mining

"Several gemstones, such as garnet, topaz, ruby, sapphire, and diamond are found in placers and in the course of placer mining"

As for real life practical application, black sand is somewhat useless / worthless.

Maybe we will be able to make glass from sand, and certain inspirationals from it. Thus, black sand might alter an inspirational, just like a singing old log makes a wicker man into the wicked wicker man.

HolyLight you were def right about that one. I tried all those gem types, so unless my formating wrong it isn't any of those.

Interesting find shizuka, what is that?

I found the black sand trying to find another nme for slag or tailings so maybe it has no use. However I doubt it. Black Sand is magnetic and thus is attracted to heavy metals and used by miners that way, so I'm leaning towards it being important in the new mining system.

Ooh, so that wheel is an electric generator... it all makes sense now...
