That's normal. Animals know that the map has no height, they see through the veil of illusion and lies.

This. Reality is perfectly flat what you think of as hight is just the flawed way you perceive the quantum gap between certain locations on the plane. Once you realize the the 3rd dimension is nothing more than an illusion you will be able to ascend above it.

and here I thought the climbing bugs were fixed ages ago :roll: but yes, this game is 2.5d and not 3d, therefore height differences do not matter in distance measurements
