You completely missed the point. It's not something you can fix with regulations. Unless you assign a policemen to every person in a country there will be ways to obtain weapons. Gun regulations will make it slightly harder but will not stop that. Besides those regulations are not aimed at stopping terrorists, but at stopping citizens from killing each other. Without firearms terroritst would find other ways, for example pressure cookers, poison, etc. It's not the matter of means, it's the matter of intentions.

Yes they will find other ways and they will still smuggle guns into countries illegally. The point Darwoth is trying to make is that if everyone had a gun then the terrorists wouldn't be able to do what they did in France and that's just not true. If we make guns incredibly hard for them to get then they'll use other less effective methods like bombs and poison. If we try and stop them through enforcement we'll stop them more often.

More guns do not stop terrorists. Less guns means less non-terrorist people killing other non-terrorist people with guns.

Absolutely right. Yes. In all countries that have banned completely (Japan) or severally reduced their access to guns (Australia, most of western Europe) Gun violence has gone done incredible amounts. There will always be some gun violence as long as there are guns in the world but if you restrict access to them and enforce smuggling laws then it lowers violence.
