Sadly this is a topic where I take a pretty strong stance. To me this is right up there with the "digitization" and "increased interactivity" of education - not a good thing.

i dont reject peoples opinion i often come to agree with certain people, i reject it because you dont take many things under consideration when saying all this, this sound like general point of view about stuff mixed up with your personal preferences when it comes to a game, when me i put several arguments/concrete examples in the last thread about why videos/stream are so damn important for tons of video games and for communities, and i doubt anyone could contest any of those.

the only real argument i ve read so far is salem updates happen fast and that could present a problem, not that it says theres no way to make plenty tuto/video that would not necessarly be affected by this fact

Maybe try to learn to express your opinion without calling anyone retarded for no reason?
I didn't write a long post explaining why you're wrong mostly because your "point" stands only on fallacies and reasonable discussion can't be based on that.
1. Text guides are still guides and any help to the community should be welcomed, not punished by those who demands more.
2. Text guides and videos aren't mutually exclusive and can coexist, you can't blame and insult text authors for lack of videos.
3. Not everyone prefer videos, they have plenty of downsides comparing to text ones and vice versa, each suits certain tastes and occasions.

When I began to play salem I always watched Eegorevid's videos on the other monitor. Those videos were outdated already when I started, but it really helped me to understand mechanics I only encountered later.
Since then as I understand how things work I prefer the wiki as it's more compact, you just search and read. For a basic understanding I think tutorial and lets play videos are good even if they are not always up-to-date.
