The developers welcome youtube videos, but HolyLight summed it up. Our regular updating makes no system safe. Best to use the wikis for now, but I would expect videos to come closer to the official launch.

how many million games got nice tuto with nice 1080hp short/long videos that help million of others players, even if you talk about updates issues etc it doesnt not concern everything necessarly, there are plenty of things that could be put on video if anyone had actually the motivation, and that could surely help out a lot

i find how-to videos an utter waste of time. It's usually much much MUCH faster to skim the search results of a quick help forum query than watch a how-to video. But hey, that requires an actual effort compared to watching a 10-minute video of a person lighting a fire.

Sadly this is a topic where I take a pretty strong stance. To me this is right up there with the "digitization" and "increased interactivity" of education - not a good thing.
