Maybe you thought you'd try to do something clever and give yourselves a horrible name and yet through some sort of awesome politics and spinning, you would still make the forums think you're great; and I can appreciate the fun in that, I really can. I've spun some crazy game and forum politics myself and tried to make people think down was up. But I've gotten some complaints and reports about the offensiveness of the name KKK. I think you've gone a bit too far and would appreciate it if you change your group's name.
After all, we're talking about a group of people who terrorize and murder minorities because they think said minorities are less than human. Is that really something you want to immitate?
Helpful? Sure.
Nice to newbies? IMO, for a group of raiders we're pretty damn nice to them since we often explain to them what mistake they made to get KO'd, and some of us actually let them go more often than we kill them? It has been ages since i've delivered a KB to someone without talking to them and giving them some sort of option to get out of it unless they were an enemy or AFK/offline summoned etc. Also i've helped a good number of noobs this world in the more typical way. I even joined Realak's townsville with a little alt for the purpose of hanging out with noobs and answering their questions and such. One of them is now a treasured friend. We wrecked the town of gwashington because it was abusing noobs. I don't think anything more can be asked regarding noobs of a group as bloodthirsty as ours.
Overall harmless? Where you got this idea I have no idea. We've killed many people, trashed many bases and stolen much stuff. Clearly we're very dangerous.
Upright? Absolutely. I don't think there has ever been a group of raiders whose personal conduct was as admirable as ours. Pretty much every day at some point I think to myself how fortunate I am to have such awesome team mates, not just in terms of capability but because of who they are.
Which bring me to my next point, which i suspect you may have missed somehow: Our group is the Kind Karing Kristians. We like the K's and find the reference to the real world KKK hilarious. Have only ever heard complaints from trolls. I, personally, consider it stupid in many cases when people choose to avoid the use of something (eg a swastika or in our case some initials) for a purpose other than the common negative due to such an association- its better to reclaim stuff adopted by a negative group instead of re-enforcing the negative symbolism by avoiding it. We are a mixed race group and we all wanted this name. If the initials were a serious problem we could consider avoiding shortening to initials in posts, but this is our name and we have no plans to consider changing it.
