Leaving Salem and giving away Nice Things

Anyone who reads the Tribe Wiki thread knows I'm taking off from Salem and giving away my stuff. Since there's no way to save anything at all to come back later, I'm just going to give it all away and not come back later.

I've given the best away to my wiki helpers, but there are still some very nice things left and I've decided to do a series of little competitions to dispose of it all. The first will be 'Be Nice to Newbies Day'. My main hermit, who is kinned by no one currently playing will be somewhere around Providence at some time in the near future looking very newbish. Here she is holding an assortment of fine inspirationals with a value of probably well over 1k silver which will go to the first person I see being kind to a newbie, or being kind to me thinking I am a newbie.



Future competitions will probably include a dock club fight or two, but I intend for anyone to be able to get in on this, so most of them will be like this. I'll be doing them approximately whenever I feel like it over the next few days, so watch for a post here if you're interested.

I know this isn't directed at me, but I just want to say: I don't need items to be nice/help people, I help those in need naturally. So if I end up helping you out of coincidence, it is not because of your items like everyone else will, but because I help those in need normally.

People should help just for the sake of helping, not to seek reward pretending to be nice for a few silver.

We have a winner for the first competition. A player who doesn't visit the forums much and helped me purely out of the kindness of his heart: waLuso. A rather new player himself, he offered me 50 silver from his own meager savings to help buy iron for my imaginary first smelter.

That's a rather vicious attitude to have. Did someone from the tribe ****** you without lube at some point? Or do you just like repeating things you've seen in old posts in the hopes that more people will like you? The tribe is gone, there's no honor in pumelling a corpse.

No, I finished that one off pretty quick. This one was the second aphid I found near my base while foraging.
