I was just about to give you an upvote but..
Town claims are for large groups of people, I think we all agree that personal claiming is part of some sort of damage control done there. Each member claims their area and other people then find it harder to bash their walls in and grief them if they wish to do so.
So I guess for us this means, we need to claim our whole town claim, which takes around 10k

Indeed, town claims are meant to be for large groups who have advanced somewhat in the game. So whether you need to muster up a character with enough humors to break through soak or you need to raise some money to place a pclaim, you should be able to destroy misplaced structures without any extra help. The 0 soak mechanic is meant to help newer players and casuals building a little base alone.

That would be fine if it was hard but possible for people with just a town claim to destroy anything they built, I don't see why you should have to drop a pclaim to destroy things in your own town.

Because at least someone there should have the humors to NOT need to drop a pclaim. And if no one does, you should be working together to make sure someone does. Towns are high profile. Especially bigger towns. You should have a few characters who can go out and fight if you are attacked and as a consequence they will be able to break through soak on most or all structures as well. In other words, It IS hard but possible.

Doesn't that mean you would have to have a char with arson if you wanted to destroy buildings without dropping a p-claim? Seems rather strange that we are not able to dismantle our own buildings...

How high of humours do you need to break through soak on a Brazier?

Implement some mechanic that combat in boston gets automatically cancelled after 1 hour, so you cant keep people like a retard in aggro for 7 hrs

Players shouldn't be in combat on Boston. If they are, then they 'ran' from Dock club or took a canoe onto the land and they deserve whatever horrible things other Salemites wish to do for them.

As for towns destroying their own stuff. Yes, you just have to drop a pclaim. If you are a town that cannot afford 150s every time you screw up. Then your town has much bigger problems than soak.

That's only because u're nat liek to improve town system.

Also why should you keep damage cap for pclaimed objects? Rebuilding brick walls is job for hours even on pclaimed land. The idea here is: remove/alter max damage cap for pclaimed objects.

"Icons" and "fast pick"

Postby bokido » Mon Jan 05, 2015 11:53 pm

Often I happen to go to gather resources around the map, kill some small animals, such as crickets or spiders, or simply collect frogs or even collect resources even more small flowers.
And many times I find myself just to take the resources orienting the map, this happens because I can not see well the resources and then I orient the map.
for example, I happen to kill the crickets in a biome that have their own color and I often find myself having difficulty nell'individuarlo, then I orient absolutely on the map to find it.
I also find it very easy while I run to take a flower or another small object and my suggestion is this:
Put the icons above objects to pick them and identify them more easily, this would completely change the approach in the game.
As you go around the map and see the icons above objects just just click on it and voila you take it without clicking as you do now that I find absolutely inefficient and also a bit irritating.
Please implemented and add the icons above objects, it would be easier to identify and collect easily and with less difficulty.
Sorry for my bad English

This is a great solution. All the objects anyway can be found on the minimap so there's no sense in making them small on the map (like the 4-leaf clover is 2d and bland with the grass, but it's clearly distinguished on the minimap). Making stuff on the ground more visible is only going to make it more comfortable for the new players (like with the candy cane event - the winners were those who had modified radar.xml).
