Are you generally happy with this feature? Because we were not and still find it cumbersome.

JC, it was a pretty bad idea to make it 4x8, since we have cupboards.
8x8 scrollable wardrobe would never be so bad, like it is now.

It's terrible, takes up way too much space. Should be grouped by item type, and you can access all individual items by clicking their type in the list which gets you a scrollable inventory window. Remove slot restrictions completely, if you're going to make it an encumbrance-based system then make it encumbrance only.

Can you elaborate on this suggestion? Are you saying that the inventory itself would automatically 'arrange' all your items in order? Why if you click the 'type' of an item would you get a scrollable inventory? What is there to scroll through if you indeed already know the 'type'?

How are the items graphically displayed if not in a 'slot'?

I think he means that all items of the same type should have only one icon in the inventory and when you click it you open a sub-menu that contains all items of this type, to differentiate between items of different purity. Though this might mean adding unnecessary clicks to the game. Maybe we could toggle between different ways to view items to suite our monitors.

hmmm yes I tend to agree that being forced to 'expand' your branches seems far less optimal than having all your branches right there.

As for 'too much space', i'm not sure I agree. Almost every player I have seen has a minimap blown up larger than this inventory panel is. And its not as if hitting 'tab' to close it in the times you wish to have a greater viewing distance is some huge investment.

May I ask when we can expect more details about the encumbrance system?

I would like the items of same exact type to stack, branches from the same tree, stones from same rock. split option if needed and then we can also click to fill up fire and such with 1 click too.

And how about the fact that items of the same type can be very different in artifice, purity, and countless other factors?
