I assume it isn't possible to scale the inventory slot sizes in respect to resolution, as I find the boxes getting rather large at lower res. For the lower res, perhaps ability to shrink it to fit or something like that.

Yes, at least one game with weight carrying mechanic has scrollable inventories with more than one compartment. Also, looks like it now should be possible to stack equal things (aether making it a problem).

why not put tabs to separate the inventory , thus gain all this space and be still flexible for low resolutions.

Or they could just make the inventory scrollable...

Wow i am fully behind this idea.
It's easy to work around for scavengers just bring 2 type of container in a sled (anyone can make)
and cram all your newly scavenged items inside 2 containers you put in said sled.
I think this is great for when you have say 20 smelters and you need to dump coal in every single one.
Or when you need to light a ton of fires for mining etc.
How heavy could branches be anyways?

Would be nice if the game was playable on 4:3 monitors as well as wide-screen. Personally I feel scrollbars would be a nice way to solve this. At least from my point of view.

You have scrollbars on the Wardrobe.

Are you generally happy with this feature? Because we were not and still find it cumbersome.
