Willowbark Tonic - Send help

Okay, so I have a clay pot of water, willow bark and a fireplace but I can't seem to get the bark into the pot of water or into the fire. Can someone give me a step by step on how to make the tonic?

That doesn't tell me why right clicking on a pot doesn't put the willow bark in.

Few steps i am missing for fire usage
It has to actually be a rock fireplace (made of 10rocks) if i'm not mistaken
and it has 2 have at least one branch inside, and lit as well.
Make sure you right click the pot onto the fireplace with or without fire on.
Then wait a bit for the water to "boil" yes crazy but water actually has to boil from my experience
You should be good to go after that.

Oooh, see, I didn't know you could rightclick the pot onto the actual fireplace, I thought you put it into the fireplace slots some how. Thank you.
