We must find it in our hearts to do what we can for our fellow man, or we are no different from the savages who were displaced from this magnificent countryside.

I'm always willing to help the poor and the sick to be true, but i cannot help someone that can not listen or answer my calls. I have indeed some spare medicines for ocassions like those.

JohnCarver wrote:Witches can indeed fix this problem by killing off the AFK alts one by one :). Looks like the people of Salem need to work a deal with a helpful witch.

now this is what we need. but how can we find someone skilled in the black arts that are willing to get rid of those plagues in providence? witches are ussualy selfish, and more in favor of spreading plagues.

I sure think its interesting the idea of administrating cures for others, for me it makes perfect sense.

Every day people in this area lose a permanent 10% of humors and under 20~ humors will die after 24 hours. this would be realistic and make people have to pay for a clean city.

A plague quarter would be great.

Taxes don't work so selectively. I feel His Majesty could only justify such levels of enforcement for an additional 10% onto all stall taxes and bank taxes, possibly even an increase in claim cost per day for both towns and personal claims. I'm sure he wouldn't hesitate to give you a nod for the idea. "His Majesty's Recuperative Illustrious Park" and right below, "Brought to you by Kai" with a copy of your homestead coordinates that dynamically changes to your current location at all times so people can thank you properly.

Didn't work out in Haven.

Don't be silly, there is no Providence in Haven, and there is no such ingame mechanic, which will force a character to stay online if it has no homstead.

There is, however, a mechanic that you're suggesting, inactive character goes zZzZ and then logs out, but most people don't even know about that, because it was completely wiped out in custom clients from the very beggining of their existance. I'm not even talking about honest pilgrims afking in their secure bases, who shouldn't suffer such major inconveniences because of a bunch of ***** in Providence.

A bear in Providence might help clean things up...
Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Difference between haven's AFK and Salems "Logged out, but persist in the world" is huge. AFK character is operated by game client, logged off character isn't.
We even haven't talked about "AFK"-characters when you come.

It wouldn't help. First - in Providence no animals can make fighting relationship with players by its own initiative. Second - even if they could do that, characters will not be gone from Providence, because they have no homestead - this is the only reason they're standing there.

Infected alts in Providence aren't offline leanto-less chars, they move ant talk. Once again you're offering "easy, healthy" fixes for hypothetical problem, which can be fixed in more elegant and easy way by simply expanding the range of teleportation to Providence to the whole square. Would take over 200 alts to encircle that.

I was also thinking about how the expansion of the port in spot would be nice for congestion.

REALLY JC?! this what you dev's intended with diseases? lol wat, i dont care about illness, spread rats! but this is an abuse. the human barrier is sure funny, but is bizarre for the role play. providence is no more a public place for trade or politics? come on.
