The place where anyone who doesn't want to spend the next 2 weeks on constant alert should not commit crimes. You don't have nearly as much to worry about if you're peaceful.

And then the question should be.. Is there a group willing to spend all the time and effort needed to commit crimes? I highly doubt it, the groups that were around before this patch raid/kill most of the time for the sake of lulz or grief than for profit(but is a worth a lulz to spend weeks or months of preparation?), even with the no porting under waste claim, raiding in most of the cases is worthless(just sum the hours invested in gathering info/siege/defence or your char versus all that hours just farming silver), this kind of change just force all to be "peaceful" and after you take crimes from salem it lose the feeling of danger that once had, turning it in just a grind game with no end game besides hunting fat pokemons. In my opinion this just encourage the lack of political landscape change, dramma and fun ingame, meh or maybe reading so much darworth drama lately is becoming me a little ***** too.-

Then you would be wrong. I'll be monitoring crimes and adjusting the moment players stop committing them. As it stands though I see no reason to believe that crimes will not be MORE common given the easier barrier or entry for them. Bases require significantly more work to keep out raiders now.

It does not matter if raiding is easier now. As long as players are able to claim around a TBC , you will be force to leave scent every single time a TBC is place causing 2 weeks to become way more.
Under the current system crime will not be a thing.

And yet crimes being left this weekend are higher than before. Thank you for your failed theory crafting contribution.

Crime adapts. Already I see that certain crimes are way easier, for the cost 20 bb and a couple of golems you can rob some players of everything they've got. Crimes are not harder, just require new strategies.
