They are MUCH more interesting in the books. Straight up vikings. They have their own god of the sea. Once the brothers of Baylon come back to claim the seastone chair you learn ALOT more about them.

Tyrion is the authors fav character and is one of the strongest characters in the books. I hate him in the show. Actor is amazing but he is 2 handsome for that roll.
