Well some people are in a sarcastic cynical mood today, jeepers.

The difference between this guy and the other guy is that the other guy had 10,000 followers on YouTube. This guy is just some beginner streamer who found Salem somehow. The other guy could have radically changed the game if he hadn't been trolled and killed.

Btw you can follow games now on Twitch if you didn't know, not just people, so whenever someone streams Salem it'll pop up in your follows.

I've read the other thread kaios pointed and boy this game game community is **** and I mean complete ****. I really hope JC was just playing a role back and really sticking to it because otherwise the game is dead and buried and no amount of advertising or fixed systems will save it. Social darwinism might get you a few a very few people that will compete and be competitive but not if you kill them all before they even got a chance to experience the game at all. I wasn't here to experience tribe first hand but from what I've been gleaning up from old threads it was one part efficient sociopath larpers, one part circle jerk of the highest order (and non tribe were pretty much the same and probably still are). Yes jorb and loftar didn't help the game at all like they aren't helping haven with their refusal to balance but that gives nobody any excuse to justify their actions or the apologism that went on in that thread and others like. Tribe and others that advocate killing fresh players off the boat (so they learn, because the game allows it, because they didn't follow magic rules they didn't even have a chance of knowing, because we don't need farmville players and all the other inane rationalizations) were/are killing the ***** game even if it's Clayet that tells you.

Having said that Clayet why the hell would you post another stream link EVER on these forums for a guy with 10000 followers or no followers? There's so many people that hate you (justly or not; my personal opinion is not) that you risk getting the people you post about killed just so they can spite you. If Bill Gates posts about salem and everyone knows it still don't make a thread about it. Even if your intentions are the best intentions the result will just be bad. Just be smart about it and think of the consequences. Your intentions might be good but if you give others a way they might think would get a reaction out of you they will abuse it.

I disagree. I see very little about the current game community that I would change, aside from maybe some magical way to get Darwoth to post his griefer tales more often.

I would agree that there was an 'issue' in the past where things were quite toxic. But even then I would maintain that the Salem forums are vastly more 'interesting' than your average forum that is void of confrontation.
