Clay Pots not changing state correctly.

Postby Jalpha » Sat Feb 22, 2014 1:59 pm

Clay pots do not change state from "cold" to "hot" unless you place them over a lit fire.

To further explain: Placing the Clay pot over an unlit fire, and then lighting it, does not change the state of the pot to "hot".
If, whilst you are cooking in the clay pot the fire beneath turns to ashes, the timer on objects inside the pot stops, and refueling the fire will not change the clay pots status from "cold" to "hot". Unless you empty objects from the pot, remove it from the fire, and then place it back over the fire.

Some other discrepancies in state changes are also becoming apparent. I'm unsure if it's related, however when crafting, as an example, making leather:

Having the crafting window for limed hides open before you place lime in a bucket of water results in the crafting window being unable to recognize the changed state of the bucket of water. Picking the bucket up from your inventory and replacing it resolves this issue.

Also experienced this. If you fire runs out and stuff hasn't finished boiling even if you refill the fire the items in it will never boil.
