Yeah they carry ranger bows that go through bronze armor.

Really? Avu, you played it for years, I'm sure you're aware archers is not a thing, even though there was a dozen of exceptions in 5 years. After movement combat became popular, even the most dedicated roleplayers gave up bows to be able to carry 10 buckets of water. And i believe I don't need to tell you how slow rb is and how it's not worth it and how the only way to get shot is to stand afk outside close to the walls.

AFKing is bad idea in both games.

But what do you say about hunting signposts? They make the world so ugly - back then when I was playing I was removing any of those If I happen to see them, cause they piss me off ) And never left ones after myself. This is just a little thing that ruins the game for me = )) But yeah, that is my personal issue )

Of course afk. The idea was it's possible. And anyway movement combat is an abomination as is drinking in combat.

To be fair salem seems to be heading hh ways of never being afk outside with witchcraft so kinda the same deal.

Heh I was destroying signs too, but mostly because I had a specific circuit I did for hunting and getting stuck running after some deer on signs was very annoying to me. Didn't have to do it that much since my hunting area wasn't very neighbourly.

Removed a couple posts at the end. We think all players should give Haven a try, if for nothing else than to see the original inspiration for Salem and be able to provide unique feedback on systems that do and do not work like the OP just did.

However, to use the Salem forums as the "how2installhaven" bug troubleshooting destination is just silly and dumb. If you are having difficulty with a Haven client. Post it on the Haven forum, don't derail an otherwise helpful thread.
