The last we see of him is him getting the remainder of the Riverlands to pledge for King Tommen. Brienne of Tarth then shows up saying that she found Sansa and the Hound will kill her if he doesn't come with her. However the Hound at that time is already a monk and Sansa is with Little Finger in the Vale. You are left him her taking him to the brothers without banners and Catelyn Stark aka Lady Stoneheart who was brought back to life after the Red Wedding by Lord Dondarrion
