Combat against creatures

Hey guys,

I haven't played since all these new changes to the game and was wondering about what level humours one should have to attack certain creatures and what moves work best.

I think it used to be that if u had 25 ea. on humours and a sabre (which was fairly easy to obtain) one could easily take down a deer, now I'm too scared to try as I have 20 ea. humours and am still two-stomping rabbits. What levels should I obtain before going after Turkeys, Beavers and Deers? And what attack moves work best? I just obtained clubbing and have noticed that it is quite useless.

Beavers blood has been increased to 15, deers went from 15 to 50.

Bears went from 50 to 150, don't nail me on the exact numbers but the point is that everything has became harder, so you won't be able to get a deer down with a 25 bile alt (atleast not easy).

What do you recommend to have in bile before I go after beavers?

30 or so should be fine for beavers. Deer 50-60.

Are halberds vs animals more effective than a 90% sword?

Halberds are good, but personally I melee deers, stay close so they can't charge you, if you can get in their way you have enough time to upper cut them, if they stop you can punch them. But I have been doing this since I got over 100 humors. I find thrusting takes to long and they will move out of the way if you haven't stunned them with your stomp, but the time takes to stomp means they might charge you and cause broken bones.

If biles are too low, then some simple trapping techniques can be useful for beaver/deer to avoid bites/breaks. Carefully laid walls/doors for them to get stuck behind when they aggro and then stomp the crap out of them.... provided you have enough yellow to get to 50 points of damage of course. Still, it gives you a head start on them at least in any case. I generally recommend avoiding breaks though and too many bites is certainly a quick death on low biles.

For fighting deer, aggro it with a bull run then immediately follow up with two thrusts, run out of his charge range and bull run him again. A successful bull run stuns your attacker for quite a bit, but it is also hard to aim.

I reccomend you start practicing this method on deer once you reach 50 biles or so. Once you get to around 120 yellow bile, the deer should die after the first two thrusts

Deers can be killed with 40~ biles without a saber. It if VERY easy. (posssibly be done with lower biles)

Put guard mode on, and just stay as close to bambi's arse as possible. Eventually after a few seconds, bambi will collide with you and stop, this is your time to punch bambi once or twice.

After you have landed 4~6 punch;s its time to switch to upper cuts.

I was killing them with ease, without a saber with 40 biles, its all technique.

If you have bullrun, open the fight with bullrun, land 4 punch's why bambi is stunned, then follow instructions above, but only needing to do upper cuts.

With 90 on the humors and with "impact power" clothes
with "Colored Flagstraps" and "Feathered Brooch" as artifacts.
Is it even posible to kill a bear with cleave or need one go higher in humors or change weapon?
