Why would I want players who are more akin to moths than actual legitimate gamers.

I think you misunderstand our desire to have 'new gamers' over our loyalty to the existing player base.

When you were chief peepookaka you hated that wipe

Honestly, I think the wipe was the final straw from Jorb and Loftar that made him buy the game.

They would be done when the game is set to go live and they are going to market it to new players

*Old Legacy flags (the ones that push your claim like borderstones) for towns will drain significantly more silver after the patch. Players have had enough time to replace them with borderstones by now. If they havn't done so yet, they should make it a priority.

what about old borderstones? Why can't you just turn the flags into borderstones?

This game isn't like most beta games that practically need a wipe because beta testers have become too powerful, leaving no room for new players to compete. This game is in a constant state of flux; top players can be perma-killed, all their high purity and end-game stuff stolen or destroyed. There is no permanent throne in Salem for the kings. New players can keep their heads down long enough or join factions to avoid all the conflict and get to a point where they can compete with the current top players.

Well, I would kinda disagree. I think it was pretty apparent that each of the 3 servers had it's dominant forces that would have been incredibly difficult to oust. Not impossible, but very tough. I don't think anyone stood much of a chance against the tribe..
