Problems interacting

I am on a mac book pro and wondering if there is any other way to interact with things in the world other than right clicking. Every time I right click on something nothing happens. I can’t seem to interact with the world at all. I can’t get past the very first thing in the game and that is the simple thing of talking to the man in the brown hat. I can’t seem to do it is an impossibility.

I think you need to buy the fisrt skill, in windows is Ctrl+T to show the skill windows, but you can get through the menus too...
