Oddities

Some sort of production-related "blanket-like" items that temporarily boost either production itself, some sort of small phlegm regen for a given duration, or maybe raise inspiration regeneration
It would disappear after a delay, longer and less random than snowballs but not long enough to become a tradeable commodity through stalls, etc

Ex: Destroying stumps,
manually chipping boulders,
destroying wall segments on friendly pclaim/vclaim (gonna be hotly contested but just provided as an additional example)
Digging lime or other boulders, perhaps stone item could increase chance to get granite or smth

Basically the idea is to make manual laborers get some benefit or 'synergy' going while grinding on projects and claim chores.
I was picking ore boulders and thought, what if I got some sort of second type of inspirational that functioned as a buff item like blankets, that made chipping 25% faster for 5 minutes, or regenerated a small amount of phlegm so i could save some food and stay grinding longer. Maybe clearing stumps could eventually yield a cross-shaped splinter-like item that instead of yielding proficiency points, would give you lumberwood strength or some **** and you could oneshot as many stumps as you came across in the next 2 minutes

It was brought to my attention that drinks might be implemented later with similar effects, drinks could be more sustained and watered-down versions of the oddity buffs

I like the idea of this, perhaps coupled with some kinda of fatigue. Not necessarily a free buff, but one that allows you to really crank stuff out for a short period of time, followed then by a period of really slow activity. This game is full of these give and take relationships..

Cabbage crumbs suck, im tired of needing them to function, sick of carrying them around in pockets and going back to my little chestful to get a few more and constantly having to ***** with them every 20-30 minutes. Can we explore some food buff system that slowly regens phlegm or other humors, its removed on combat or something?
Maybe just make chairs regen phlegm based on whatever silly conditions you see fit, in my own house, on my own village claim, or something? I don't deny that we should invest something to 'keep going' but the constant hassle is kindof a *****

You have about a dozen other foods of comparable humor regen as cabbage crumbs.

I guess I just didn't realize that was a 'feature', the constant need to jaw down crackers and fish from running around your village storing and sorting items and moving things from place to place, but thanks for pointing out there is more than one recipe available to use, that was a useful protip

Yeah, requiring food to function is ridiculous.

As ridiculous as using chairs to regain energy?

He did submit a better one, using food to regen. AFKing in a specific spot to regen is a dumb idea.
