Favorite Salem flavor text quotes!

Postby tweenprinc3ss » Thu Nov 27, 2014 8:00 pm

One of the things I have always liked a lot about Salem, is the thought that went into the flavor text. Through this flavor text the dev's have done a great job of evoking a dark and lonely, and often a bit sad, atmosphere. I thought it could be fun to post a favorite here and there..

"There once was a Gobbler who hung his head, not in shame, but in exuberant, joyous, pride. Gone is the Gobbler, but the pride remains."

"Creaking and moaning under heavy loads, and regretfully telling of how all things human will err and come undone."

This makes me happy. We have a few people near the dev team who make fun of us for the time and effort put into them. Trying to convince us nobody reads them. Good to see the effort is appreciated.

It is not the size of the twig that matters, but how you study it.

John I'm real happy for you and Imma let you finish, but Jorb had some of the best flavour texts of all time.
