Destroying walls, but they dont go to 1%

Building walls is very difficult and requires flat land. Now I need to destroy a wall, but it will not even go to 1%. Is there a special way to destroy a wall?

Doesn't the wall's health go down at all or just not beyond 2%? If the former, you're probably doing less damage than the soak the wall has; if the latter, I wouldn't know.

Also, when preparing to build a gate. Do the tiles adjacent to the 2 tiles of space and the 2 cornerposts/starterposts need to be flat? Or do only the 4 tiles where the gate and the cornerposts be need to be flat?

basically, I'm asking if I need to have all the tiles around the gate be flat? or only the 4 tiles where the gate and 2 cornerposts.

Dude, you need way more phlegm...25+ phlegm is required to do damage to a stonehedge.

And a good rule of thumb for building anything: Flatten land around the entire building area. Taking shortcuts just leads to problems later.

For anyone else reading this topic. I tested it and I did not need to flatten the land around the wall and the gate. I only had to flatten the land the wall/gate would stand on. However, If I was to build a double wall, I would need to flatten the land in advance as I would not be able to flatten anything adjacent to a wall because the wall is in the way. And the reason I might need flat land is because I would need gates.

Also, 4 nails for a gate! Damn :( That's practically as much as you need for a house.
