:o :o That would definitely reduce a user's post count. Unless I'm mistaken, it would lower Dallane's post count by 773.

Hence, I'm going to set a purge on it. Threads that haven't been used for more than a month will be deleted from Hinnom automatically on a regular basis. I plan to do this in a few weeks.

I know there have been a lot of changes to mods and rules over the course of this forum, so if any of you feel there are threads of historical significance or whatever in Hinnom, let me know and I will review them and add them to the archives if they don't break any rules.

what made you want to remove hinnom posts? is there a space issue?

No space issue. It's just like I said, Hinnom is for garbage that doesn't need to be on the forums. That's why it gets Hinnomed... But what's the point, really, if it just stays there for eternity? It's still in the forums. Keeping trash posts like that isn't something I've seen on any other forum and it's bothered me since the day I first started playing Salem, so I'm putting a time limit on the threads in it to be deleted after a month of being in there.

And yes, they do get deleted. There's no secret archive.

Yes, it will reduce a few post counts by a bit, but I don't think it will be that big of an effect, hinnom is not so large.

It would be far more interesting to see what would happen to your post count if they deleted CuaH post after a month, they are just off topic garbage anyway.
