Not sure what religious views you are talking about. Seems a priest has touched you in the past or something? How do you know we are apes? We could in fact be the most intelligent life out there for all we know. The fact that you have this view is proof that you are a fool. You don't understand anything that you are preaching.

Watch some PBS and educate yourself. This isn't star trek or starwars. Stop playing mass effect and get a education.

Assuming physicists mentioned in links in quote are right about the planets, and habitable zones and stuff involving it. In addition to not wanting to admit that there might be other options and reasons to perceive and understand why we would not have had contact with Aliens life forms yet. Not wanting to believe and dismissing others is kinda boxing oneself in as mentioned in RuneNL's comment. And as mentioned in my posts.. it's sometimes scary to leave ones comfort zone.

And yeah.. i have seen like every single PBS, Nova episode of space and the whole series of the series called "The Universe". And i am still open to new ideas. I know and i have seen, but i don't set it in stone.

If you would actually read any of the articles posted you would see that to be logical in this stance there are many options as to why we have not discovered aliums. The fact that you jump to a conclusion that we are "apes" is just silly. You clearly do not understand of how true that might not be. We are either on equal grounds with other planets, ahead or they are way ahead of us. To say that we are apes is short sighted and all around stupid.

But isn't a human like a ape? only thing that puts us a part is the human superiority complex\ego that he is best and knows everything. There for he has nothing to do with lesser lifeforms that in his perspective is not doing what he is because doing anything else than a human does is unintelligent. Or what do you mean? please explain why humans are not apes.

His reference to us being apes is that our lvl of technology is of the lvls of sticks and rocks. Which could be true but then again it could not or we could all be using stick and stones on a equal level.

You know this is a lot better. I know the articles you speak of and I decided not to hold them absolute.
Simply said, we tend to look for things we want to find. Hardly ever do we look for something we have no understanding of or its existence.

I call us apes because I nor our whole race can for definite say we are the most superior creature in the universe, the ones that do are arrogant fools and should go back to worshiping god. Religion has a lot less books and a lot more people confirming we are the "chosen ones" of the "ultimate one".

We are bound and governed by many natural laws and physical properties we currently can not look beyond. If you think about Gravitational time dilation it would mean, that in theory, the further we move away from gravity and gravitational pull the slower time goes. We are unable to test the biological effects of this to its full extend... Would this mean that time halts and freezes all when there is no gravity, does this mean we stop ageing or would this mean leaping through expansive amounts of space.

The bottom line is there is a huge limit to what we can actually test and make actual fact, so instead we look for what we can understand and confirm and miss out on the portion we don't care about or are aware of.

I dont see how you can make any of the claims you have without regarding anything from them. Its just silly.

We are on different pages, they are tools to a higher purpose not ropes to bind us into a single mindset.
Unless we are physically able to confirm something as fact even then we are still bound by our sensory limitations.

I accept our current scientific advancements as most likely opinions (facts get debunked every now and then) upon which we build our future scientific advancements.

To elaborate on my previous statement "find only what you want to find" I find it dreadfully depressing if we where the most advanced race in the universe.

Would you be so kind to paste some links to the articles you are speaking off. Or summarise the inportant bits or quote them so we can also enjoy and educate ourselves to the divine all knowing knowledge that is in these articles.

If the nerds that made these claims were polite enough to put "relativity" smack in the title of the thing, then surely we can acknowledge the presence of that word and what it means, yes? There's a difference in passage of time between points in different conditions. It's not a matter of time itself stopping. Furthermore after looking it up, since i'm rusty as ***** in the matter, it says "The stronger the gravitational potential (the closer the clock is to the source of gravitation), the more slowly time passes." , so the opposite of what you already claimed. This is why Dallane suggests you actually read stuff before commenting on it ._.

Also, to say that simply because we haven't yet figured everything out, or simply because some things are near impossible to figure out given the stuff we're made of, what we can interact with or what have you, doesn't mean that anything goes. It doesn't invalidate all we've already approximated to a certain degree of accuracy. Simply because our scientists aren't omniscient, doesn't mean my claims that a galactic UberPony dictates the laws of our universe are just as valid as creationists' theories (although pretty much as founded), or as valid as a physicist's description of the laws of our universe.
