Of course, if you measure with the "crayons" we consider the epiphany of our scientific intelligence it is highly unlikely.
But I am confident when I say we think we know a lot but in fact we know very little.

Every now and then an individual gets born that sends us 200 years ahead in time, scientifically/discovery wise which makes way for a whole new world of possibilities (previously laughed at as *****).
Between those ground breaking discoveries we have a tendency to claim and "know" all the truths and condemn those who dare to believe any different.

This has not changed...

Thats not what it was about. It was more on the lines that space is so ***** huge that the chance of our signals reaching something out there or if they would even be listening for it would be insanely unlikely and the chance that someone would stumble on this planet in the 1st place would also be impressive.

That is assuming their technology is at a similar stage as ours.

Fine whatever, you stick to your boxed religious views of our current scientific abillity to coprehend what we don't know or understand yet.

We are ***** apes still throwing ****. Your assumptions are arrogant and short sighted.

Assuming that seeing everything in the 3rd dimension, with your own eyes is the only way you can explore and see the universe. Then that would be pretty hard, yes indeed for life to find one another.
Darkness is unknowing, Light is knowing. Shed light to the Darkness to transform it into knowing. Thus it becomes Light.
Darkness is the absence of thought.

Not sure what religious views you are talking about. Seems a priest has touched you in the past or something? How do you know we are apes? We could in fact be the most intelligent life out there for all we know. The fact that you have this view is proof that you are a fool. You don't understand anything that you are preaching.

Watch some PBS and educate yourself. This isn't star trek or starwars. Stop playing mass effect and get a education.

I hate to repeat myself.

The assumption that we are the top tier dogs has its origin in our Christian background.
There is a tiny chance that is correct, but to assume we are and therefor contact with extra terrestrial life in a near infinite galaxy is impossible because their technological stage is inferior is simply laughably childish to me.

You may call me a fool but all I hear is someone that preaches what has been written down but what is by no means the end station.
I try to speak theory with you and you bring up established "end station" opinions.

Anyway, seeing your frequent posts in this topic it is clear to me you are not open to theorize about things other then the established ideas which just makes it sharing established pre-boxed knowledge.
No need to rehash what has been written. Have fun quoting.
