Wall splash damage

Postby Arkadion » Wed Nov 12, 2014 11:25 am

Hello, Can someone clarify how splash damage works and to what kind of fences (if not all) it applies?

As far as fence planning, is a triple stone wall better than a branch - split-rail - stone encampment? Would you advise brick walls on the inside or the outer layer?

Splash damage hits nearby walls of the same kind or worse. So stone hedge will splash on other stone hedge and split rail, but not on plank fence.
You want to build layers from weakest to strongest when looking from the outside. Si split rail first, then stone hedge, then plank fence then brick wall. This way, when enemy destroys one layer, it will not splash to the next one. So the brickwall on the inside

Thank you for the reply. How many tiles does "nearby" mean?

Hmm I haven't tested, but most people, me included use 6 tiles. That is, my claim extends for 6 tiles outside my walls (so that nobody builds a wall outside my claim and destroys it to splash my walls down)

If the wall is placed on an edge, can it be splashed by destroying a wall on the terrace bellow?

i haven't actually tested it, but I assume it can as this game is 2.5d
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Speaking of destroying walls, I asked before but never got a straigt answer; How much humours is needed to make damage att all to a stone hedge at all? What is the minimum amount of phelgm nowadays to cause any damage on a claimed wall?
