well, thats it.
now people will vote for a republican president next election. and then america will become a dark age country.
with the rich ruling over the poor with an iron fist, the church controlling the rich and everyone becomming stupider and stupider.
no women will be allowed rulership over their own bodies, and men are supposed to be gratefull to die for their country.

well, here comes world war 3 or full scale rebellion in america when the world no longer trusts their credit and stop dealing with em.

so long USA.

idiots....

In the interest of fairness he made that prediction over a year ago. A lot can change in that time. I'm not defending him, I'm just saying.
Still, surprising news. History repeats itself. It's the same situation that Bill Clinton faced back in the day. It'll be very interesting to see how it all plays out.

I haven't even looked at election results since last night. All I know is that we got rid of the Reaganomics governor (damn teabaggers), and the senate race was too close to call.

It doesn't surprise me any. The middle class are going to vote themselves into the poorhouse and then wonder why they can't vote anymore.

All I can say, in conclusion, is... I'm moving to Canada!! I rather prefer the arctic air, anyway. It's less smoggy.

Yeah, Reagan faced the same thing back when he was in office, same thing happened to Dubya in 2006, too. It's the shifting political views that have things so screwed up right now. The right is so far right that the left has had to move to the right just to get elected. There's a great fear in the US over some issues, and I blame televangelists. Roe vs Wade was just the start, and it's been snowballing ever since (or maybe it was prayer in schools... I forget what year that ruling was). People have forgotten what it means to be a "good Christian."

Note: not that I've looked, but was it so much that anyone can override a veto? Let's have two more years of deadlock and uncontrolled government waste. I'd rather see all republicans or all democrats over this nonsense.

edit: well, I look at the news just now, and they finally ruled a winner last night after last time I looked... Hey, colsie, know any cheap apartments up there?
