Spoken like a true criminal.

yes, in good games it is important that the game gives good feedback to the player... that a person doesn't even know if he is dead (assuming he hasnt read any wiki) shows either a lack of competence or resources of the dev team.
Kush wrote:If you committed crimes, then log in to your character being gone, and you can't figure out why, I don't think its lack of dev planning. Sounds more like not understanding how to play the game. Last thing we need is people able to commit crimes then just logging off until the clues expire.

Anyway, some 5-bile-alt stomped to my HS and started to trash stuff that where temporary around claim, i runed out and 1-hit knocked him since i didnt realy expect 5-bile-alt 3 hours far from Boston. That was my mistake since he planted leanto and took my scent (i`m not sure still how long it will last in hes inventory). So prety much he can give my scent to high level character who can kill me in some way now (still didnt figure whole mechanic).
Good idea would be if somone with more experience explain PvP mechanic together with common exploiting scenarion so new player know what to expect.

You looked in the wrong place: http://www.salem-wiki.com/mediawiki/ind ... Punishment
What's more, you found the forums easily enough when you wanted to *****. Why didn't you come here sooner and ask about crime so as to learn from other people's mistakes rather than from experience?
