Hmm, I had an assumption that the current virus is not airborne but rather spreads via body fluids. Have to find a source for that though..

Conspiracy theory at its finest.

People don't hide stuff about diseases.
They give you the inteligence to make sure you know how to not get infected.
Breathing the same air as an ebola patient is not bad for you and you will not get ebola.

Also read this article please i just found it on google http://www.vox.com/2014/9/19/6543157/ebola-is-unlikely-to-go-airborne

The thing is that Liberian guy came here(Texas) to treat his illness. He properly lied about his travelling history when he came here. He knew he will die if he won't come to the US. The virus is deadly and people knows it.
As for the Africans, It's not because they are stupid, they just don't have the right mindset to care. They are not as well educated as us. We don't know what is right and wrong there and their reasoning way. Will you raid hospital when you know your country is not safe anymore and every one is dying around you? You will want to take the things for yourself and so on. We know more, maybe we will act differently, but few can resist the temptation of having an advantage. We can't judge them. However, standing on our way of thinking and using our common senses, yes they are retarded and we will all blame them for the epidemic.
On another conspiracy note, I think if anyone hate the US, they can just encourage some infected individuals into our country and let it spread. Because why not? Mr president lately stated that he will accept Ebola patient into the US for treatment, I think they don't want people to lie about their sickness and go around anymore, plus now if they lie and go around spreading it, we know they are related to those terrorists or stupid retarded people who want to kill as much as they can before they die. Muslims normally believe that if they die for their God they will go to heaven right? That's the most scary thing about them and that's why their extremists are so dangerous.
But it's still **** because more patient means more chance of infection.

Found a WHO site about virus:

http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factsheets/fs103/en/

Still think this is more reliable source than a single Chilean doctor. And with a incubation period of 2-21 days this virus would wipe entire planet in few months if it was airborne.

yes, i agree it is only a matter of time until akmed goes hugging everyone in liberia before walking across the border.

kind of like this guy.....

as an aside however there is no educational or cultural excuse for the people responsible for this epidemic, they saw a chance to steal **** for themselves and now tens of thousands and likely millions before it is over will die because of them. it aint like anyone over there is unfamiliar with what ebola is, most certainly moreso than the average "westerner"

I think you got that wrong.
Ebola IS transmitted if someone coughs in the air and droplets with the virus fly around the air.
However airborne viruses are viruses that enter the air with no fluids around them. They just float out and about being carried by air streams.
Remember, the droplets that come out of you when you cough are still bodily fluids, because you know, they wouldnt be droplets if they weren't fluids would they?

I imagine not many of you guys have been in africa, i was there less than 2 months ago and i've been in 7 diffrent african countries.

So speaking from actual experience, working along with africans and just observing their way of life.
Ebola will break out in africa that is certain, anyone that disagrees have not been in africa and know **** about the continent.
