Purge button on stalls doesn't work

Unless I'm just clueless and haven't figured out the right button combo... the purge button turns a pretty red color but doesn't remove the stack from the stall.

It has a safety precaution on it. Try clicking it quickly multiple times.

Purge deletes the items from the stall or returns them to inventory/mail?

Delete, Because in the past people has used stalls as storage. If you want something back from a stall you must buy it and face taxes.
