Bone Meal?

I cannot find any information on Bone meal. I know how to make it, but I can't find information about its usage. I assumed it can be used in agriculture so I checked out the wiki for that, but it doesn't mention bone meal at all.

Anyone have a webpage that will shed some light or can you list some things it's used for?

Yes, it's mostly handled by me. It was made about a year ago and tends to be a lot more up to date.
