March Hares and Darkness

hi,

id like to hunt some march hares for their hides but it seem to me they are very rare. someone told me the accure more often in darkness but iam a bit confused on the concept of darkness. would be great if someone could explain it to me and/or give me some tips for hunting march hares. ty

Nah nah just kidding. The darkness is any area out farther than a certain distance from Boston. I think it's something along the lines of 400-450+ map tiles away, should be a circle, and due to the nature of our square map, the N-W and S-W corners would have the darkest of darknesssesesessses. That's where you'll find march hares, or you could ask our lovely Lizbeth Maudney to teach you the spell to summon them

You do not have to be in the darkness to get a March Hare. (I've fought them on the Providence town claim before.) They do seem to be more common if you fight bunnies in the darkness though.

Ctrl+D tells you if you are in the darkness or not - anything below b: 62.5 is some darkness.
