Turkey purity

Postby Procne » Tue Oct 14, 2014 7:39 am

According to patch notes:
The purity of the Turkey Egg will now be a combination of the Turkey Coop, the Hen and the Gobbler.

My coop is 2.6% pure
My gobbler is 7.2% pure
My hens are 6.49% and 6.51% pure

And eggs layed by those hens are 7.45% to 7.55% pure

Uhm, not really, since the patch notes also said
as with other structures, the coop cannot drop in Purity and will greatly lower the purity of its produce if you try to place high purity turkeys in a low purity coop.

edit: seems like it's a 5% margin. Just had a hen lay 7.6% egg, while coop purity was 2.6%. That made coop increase purity to 2.65%
So I guess coop purity matters only if the new egg would be higher than coop purity + 5%. A simple hard cap.

Yeah, there is a bonus other than just the purities listed, how else would you increase the purity of your turkeys?

Yes, if it wasn't clear in the notes, there is a RNG in there too, and that's how purity gets raised.
