Windmill in Boston

Postby Gromar » Sun Oct 05, 2014 2:55 pm

Hey guys,

I just came back from holiday and tried to use the windmill in boston.
I can now find 2 new windmills to the north of the towncenter, but I do not know how to use them. It seems I can not get inside.

Is there still a way to produce flour in boston or can I only do that with the new grind stone, copper grind stone and the self constructed windmill?

Thanks for information. Could not find it in the patch information.

Now that players may make flower from Grindstones the ability to enter boston windmills has been removed.

You have to make grindstone or copper grinder or a windmill yourself.
Can't use Boston windmills anymore

Don't know what skills, but stone grindstone requires 25 stones, 5 granite and 3 flint. Grinding flour takes a lot of time with it.
Copper grinder requires 4 copper bars, 6 planed boards, 1 oiled board, 1 iron bar and 8 wooden plugs

grinding flour still takes quite a bit of time with a copper grinder, by the way.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Yes it is intended that the windmill is still your best option for grinding flour.

Also, the grindstone is unlocked with agriculture. So by the time you can grow cereal, you can also mill it.
