The only idea I have left (because I cannot test it) is to feed it with jalapeno. Maybe it would make it die.
For the record I already tried feeding it with all poisonous mushrooms, thorns and grimthorns
Even built a meatsmoker, for nothing.

Recalling thisold story about turtle racing with hare I tried dropping it in the middle of bunny pack. It didn't want to race though

Oh man, that's worthy of a machimana or little comic. Some pilgrim desperately/furiously throwing a turtle at a herd of rabbits.

The meat smoker has other uses though, it's efficient for cooking some recipes, and crabs. Possibly lobsters or crawdads, but I haven't gotten any to check yet.

I also like the Walnut description about Hermits not necessarily being safe from Evil. Snide one devs.
