0% worms in a 4% humus bin

Postby Rifmaster » Sat Sep 27, 2014 4:51 pm

I've had enough of having 1 0% worm spawning in my 100% efficiency compost bin to ruin the humus purity.
So i suggest not letting worms spawn in a bin that already has 100% efficiency, so this stuff wouldnt happen.
I see no con to adding this but i ussualy miss something.
So what do you guys think of it?

I think your suggestion would :
a) reduce the amount of tears that fuel the dev team and let us get more updates
b) remove any sort of variety from making/plucking humus, at least now you need to check now and then even if your harvest isn't ready for you to need to replant.

All in all, I'd say this shouldn't be a priority, or even changed at all. I feel it's intended and not as big of a hassle as it might seem, or as big of a hassle as other things are that could be fixed before it.
Exactly 6.022 x 10^23 worth of Lach molecules.

We considered changing this when we were doing purity. As Lachlaan figured out, we decided that we quite enjoy the idea that a newly spawned worm is messing up the status quo and you have an incentive to pluck them sooner rather than later. We also decided the same thing about Turkey Gobblers. A newly spawned Beta Turkey Gobbler that is lower Aether runs the risk of spending a little too much time with your hens. You thus have an incentive to make sure the Alpha gobbler you intend to be having his aether passed on is the only one in that coop.

The solution to this is simple allow us to make gold boards and use them to make bins and make bins. And have the chance to spawn worms be reduced buy 15 times the number of gold boards used.

But smart people move all chicks to a seperate coop to grow up. That way you never have a second bad gobbler pimping all your hens.
