Hey noob! ovar here!

Postby trungdle » Sun Sep 28, 2014 2:37 am

Hello, I'm a noob too, but I have been here longer than you, so a bit of advice and expectation before you go out there:
0. This game is free to play. Really free, cost you nothing aside from your sanity.
1. There is no level in this game, you have only 4 stats, a separate list of skills that you can improve, a separate list of utility skills that you can learn to use(only once), and that's it.
2.You improve your character by eating things (we call it "gluttony") to gain points, you learn new skills by study various things in the world that you can find or make. We have a vast various type of food and curiosities. You will enjoy them for sure.
3. If you get KO, you will be sent back to your house without your items and minus 2 skill points.
4. If someone KO you AND cut your head off, you're gone for good. you lose everything, even your character. we call it permanent death.
5. This is a simulation game, you will get to build various houses and wall and turrets (we call the brazier) to defend yourself. You can farm, do woodworking, hunt, cook, mine, raid people and so on.
6. You will see tear. lots of tear.
You thought I quit.

you may also be haphazardly banned for real life threats in the event you threaten to kill someone in game, as such you must accompany every comment with (in game) to avoid confusion like so.

"hey darknacht (your in game persona) if you continue to berate my attempt to sell (in game) goods for (in game) silver i will have to cut your face off (in game) for your foul transgressions within the game which we speak of, however being that we are of course speaking of in game events only within the artificial universe of the game i do of course wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year outside of the game, along with a happy birthday. peace be upon you brother of salem."

but you may still be ***** with anyway.

I wasn't going to ban you for posting from this account when your other is banned since the other is not known to be associated with you. I didn't want to let the cat out of the bag and ruin your merchant account as long as you stayed away from the subject yourself. However, now you're posting things like this. It's no only clear to everyone now that you are Trove, but you are also breaking the rules and arguing about moderations on the forums themselves. So, 3 day ban to the Darwoth account for arguing about moderation here and for posting while banned.

It's funny how people assume noobs are mentally retarded / childish and try to talk them like to a retarded person or a child.

I think it's better to assume you should explain things carefully to them because at least some of them do really need it spelled out. And I won't say who (it shouldn't be hard to guess, but I still won't say) but there are people who are literally 12-13 years old playing this game with varying degrees of success. (Both because this is a little complicated, and other reasons, like getting killed repeatedly.)
