Pumpkin flesh got removed as an any plant.

Thorns however are still classified as plants. Turkey stuffed with thorns anyone?

Well i glad pumpkin flesh is not longer any plant, now the category make a lot more sense.

Your worms will be rejecting pumpkin flesh as well.

okay I guess I'm a little confused then not an uncommon thing because in the patch notes you said

Feeding a Python purity plants from your fields will increase its purity, which will in turn increase your humus purity.

so is it just cabbage leafs now since they only ate pumpkin originally and then cabbage was added

Yes you will be using Cabbages to push your field purity over to your worms.
