A. No, he has been perfect in every way giving 110%, can not ask for a better dev! I wish I was more like him!
B. No, He has performed above and beyond any standard dev and could not improve very much.
C. No, He worked as hard as any dev would in other games, some room improvement, however not necessary.
D. Yes, He seems to be aimlessly swinging a club around trying to hit a pinata blindfolded but only hitting the target with luck.
E. Yes! "I feel sick *barfs*, guess that is going in the next patch too".

You've missed the point of this poll. No one is saying john carver is a bad developer. The poll is whether or not he's playing his game enough to fully understand the impact his changes are having so that the game becomes balanced and stays there.

John Carver should be playing the game 100% of the time! Who the ***** needs someone to code and develop it, mirite ¦] ?

Seriously though, given that the development team is relatively small meaning they have a good knowledge of how the game ticks due to the amount of time they'd likely have to spend messing around in its innards, as well as the amount of feedback Carver gets from various people (and not just the limited perspective of only character if he were to be playing all the time on his own, i.e., one character), I believe he's more than capable of leading the game in a good direction as is. From the perspective of a relatively new player (that's me) who's been playing a few weeks, the game is fine, fun, and balanced. Besides, I thought he played already?

Doesn't mean we shouldn't voice our opinions on the game (in a civil fashion so we don't look like a bunch of haughty, pretentious, spoiled five year olds as I've seen quite often), but these kind of threads don't help XD, as it seems to be more about the developer than the game itself, which shouldn't be the focus when it comes to constructive criticism.

I just wish he would stop **** teasing us with his preview images :P (j/k j/k).

Oh, and my nose looks quite good in brown, thank you very much ¦] .

I can't help but feel this poll isnt needed... is it not our "job" to talk to JC and report to him about such balances or lack there of?

it doesn't make much sense for a developer to "play" their game when we as beta testers basically get the front row seat to test and ***** more.

Yet he may be still out of touch with my vision of Salem, even after playing enough, so I would need to create another poll like this one. ¦]

Pretty much impossible to do, no one person could ever keep up with the concerns of the whole community by simply playing.

As long as they pay attention to the forums and actually listen to player concerns then there is no problem in my opinion.

Agreed and I still don't see a reason why there is a need for this poll when he hasn't even gone through his developmental roadmap, (or at least implementing purity patch)

It's like people are judging unfinished work, really.
