Creatures pursuing forever

Postby Phobia00 » Sat Sep 13, 2014 7:57 pm

Maybe this is not a bug,I'm fairly new to this game, but today after I attacked a cricket I ran out of "stamina",so I couldn't attack it anymore.Funny part is I ran straight away from it for 15-20 mins and it still didn't lose aggro.Since my bile etc. won't regenerate while I am in a fight, even though I tried to make peace and whatever options I had,It seems the only way to continue the game was to just stand and wait until the critter killed me.

A very intended mechanic of the game.

I would point out that you were only knocked out not killed. Salem is not like other MMO's you experienced. You are held accountable for your actions here much harder than other games would do so. You started that fight with the cricket, you are expected to finish it one way or the other.

Although in the future you could try to get over some water that the cricket could not cross.

Ah,ok.
I just expected that if I offer peace (the icon in the top right) and just walk away for 15-20 mins it might accept it.Or at least run out of yellow and become unable to attack, just like I do :D
Thanks for the answer however. :)

the creatures are not limited by silly constraints such as humour balance or food.
They do, however, have a mortal fear of water. As long as you are a strong swimmer, a river will let you escape anything the wild throws at you.

for now.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Once you can run - you can offer peace and outrun snakes and argopelters. I'm not sure about other animals. Turkeys and march ares are both too fast to outrun.

Worst nightmare:

Expedition world where turkeys aggro on sight and are able to swim.

Wild turkeys can fly. Why would they need to swim?

New Nightmare - Turkeys flying over our walls!

Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.
