In our case maybe a Cricket pet?

Just so long as whatever it was didn't block pathing for anyone and did not participate in fights.

We might also have a particularly large and obnoxious Tom Turkey with pretty tail feathers, and either the same annoying gobble as the current ones, or an even louder and more annoying one.

He would be fairly expensive, or an actual Dev gift for an event, and likely to get his owner killed for annoying everyone so much with him. He could be a prize or cash shop thing around Thanksgiving.

Some kind of goofy lap dog or terrier would also possibly be amusing.

Witches must have black cats as pets with them at all times, that's how you know they are witches.
But non witches can also have black cats too, anyone can, so you can't really know if they are a witch.
Or you can burn them, witches burn cause they are made of wood. ¦]

You don't scalp others pets you just stuff them and keep them in your house.

we should be able to train attack dogs and level their stats/skills like you could with pets in uo and other games.

So you're saying you want super annoying "Bard" type characters who have attack squads of Turkey/Deer/Bear?

Some modification of course, would be necessary. Having several Deer or half a dozen Bear in this game would be fairly lethal, whereas Bear and deer are kinda weaksauce in both PVE and PVP in UO. (The noise that Deer make in that game however, is awful. Maybe we could have OUR deer have that noise, and perhaps other noises when they fight? We need that at least. Since Bear do.)

The distinctive and hated sound of "Snake presence/Snake Aggro" in UO should be a thing here. I'm thinking hisses and a warning rattle? Just so totally oblivious Newbs get another warning before they walk into them.

I honestly don't know what kind of sound an Argopelter would make. Probably something weird, although a lot of real birds make strange noises, so there are things which would make sense.

Or they could sound like an ape or something. Whatever seems appropriate.
