WOW! blatant Dev **** talking right here! I vote JohnCarver raid vienradzis base for his needed raiding balance data. It's for research!

There are things that cannot be done :)

It's not something I say very often but, beautiful nuts JC ;). I am positivly tingling to get to play with them in new and exciting ways and I know the rest of my group will be just as excited to gobble them up.
Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Nice to see progress as always, but just can't be hyped about nuts.

Aren't you afraid that with so many food recipes most of them still won't be used? Any way to counter this?

You listed 9 different ways a recipe is useful. Now consider that there are 3 varying 'degrees' of power between recipes in terms of biles awarded. That gives you 27 Variants of useful recipes depending on the humor level you are at and focusing on. Now consider 12 food groups of which you will want a balanced session more than ever after the patch. This gives you 324.

There are certainly a handful of recipes that 'do the same thing' and it will be a balancing effort to try to make each one as lucrative as the other. However, I would contest that there are approx a minimum of 324 'Unique' Recipes in that they serve a purpose other foods do not. That being said, I believe we are approaching 1,536 unique food varaints and recipes now.

But still we can only glutton with around 40 items max at a time. I am afraid there will again be a number of good foods, which can be repeatedly used every gluttony session. Guess we will see how did the balancing go after the patch.

But that's obviously the best scenario, eating few foods for each bile that is. Cooking a dozen food for each bile for each session sounds pretty painful to me.

You won't be eating +200 gain foods to get a point on a 5/5/5/5 alt, or raw berries on a near titan. Ideally the diversity will allow for better mixing and matching, to get the perfect setup of main point gainers + fillers, and a variety of mixes that allow you to choose where you gamble.

Like eating foods with 1-200 range versus one food of 80-100 range with similar timers. Similarly there has so far been the choice between restores versus raw gain, and if tweaked well enough such choices can just give you a lot of personalized feasting, where all the choices are out there, but you can just call yourself a vegan and still be weirdly competitive xD

Not the case after the patch. This number is closer to double for players with the nicest of tables.
