Beavers is not the best way to make silver, there's way more easier tasks to do that grants more silver in the end, guess you don't have any of the new(er) skills and you don't trade/sell?

Meh, not worth it. Established traders are good for buying from but not for selling to, and unestablished ones are 90% scammers and 10% sellers of scented goods.
