Greetings Fine Citizens of Salem,
As I was walking around the intact and functioning city of BTK I saw a dresser. Inside this dresser lay an small diary. Given that I have no shame I opened this diary and was rewarded with the entire account of the raid that Stax from the perspective of some member in BTK who apparently had a long relationship with bait prior to this event even happening. I figured a piece of history like this belongs in a museum and not simply in my own possession which is why I decided to share with you now. Its a bit of a text-wall I know but an interesting read none-the-less if for no other reason than to sync up the "facts" that both parties appear to agree on.

There was once very friendly hermit living not so far from Boston, he belived that Salem is a happy place, growing his crops, planting his pots, fishing in the river outside his house he enjoyed every coming of the sun and moon. Untill one day his closest neighbour and him were raided and the raider not only took all of his stuff but he also locked the doors and killed the only turkeys he had. Seeking revenge for this act the hermit hired a mercenary to kill the culprit, little did he know that the mercenary was not after the money but something else entierly...



Chapter One : Meeting Bait

So the mercenary i hired was no other then Bait he contacted me trough the forum, he was very secretive about everything telling not to tell anyone it was him, i asked him how much gold did he want and he said "you tell me", being just robbed blind i didnt have much and i was in noo mood to farm crikets so i told him i will pay him in few days and he said "its ok its not a big deal", he came to my place for scents and to destroy my doors and started heading to the culprit.

While he was heading there we started chating a bit and he said he is mostly doing this coz he wanted to kill someone, that his town was keeping him on short leash. After saying that i told him that instead of paying him silver i will give him key to my place and rights and he can take anything he wants i was about to quit the game anyway and he really helped me get revenge and gave me a reason to stay and play.
When i suggested to give him key and rights he promptly said that he will also be able to come and defend me if this happend again.

He killed the thief that stole from me and after he saw on forum that i hired someone to kill him he said that he will be coming back to finish the job and burn my claim to ground. That is when i decided to join a town and asked Bait to talk to his town leader and ask about me joining, after some days of not doing it i told him one night that i found another town to join and i will be moving all i have tomorrow and that he should ask his master again untill then.

So when i woke up and loged in i saw that my claim was cleared out again but this time there was 0 scents, so i asked Bait how it was posible for not to leave scents he said it was bug, i didnt want to belive it was him. After i talked to few more ppl i realised it was probably Bait since noone else had rights nor key to my place. I confronted him and asked him why would he do thing like that his first reply was
"i wasnt even close to your claim that day", after that i knew it was him and i never saw him online again (char name Truce).


Chapter Two : Joining BTK

So i joined this small but cool town and started working hard to catch up with the rest of them. After about 5 days of digging and 5 days of building i was back to doing my normal stuff. Few days after Pain lost his mind (if he had one at first place) and said to Eulogi to kick Bruce from town or him. After seeing that noone was sharing his opinion and after i told him i wont support him he even accused me of being Darwoth and a spy, he was desperate, then he was kicked from the town and we started having fun again :]

We recruited alot of ppl after Pain left and fearing some of them might be his spies i didnt let any new ppl have rights on my place, on other hand Bruce let everyone have rights. One day when his outer door and vault door (perfect oportunity) was open his places was cleared out. Something like 50 bars and everything else he had was taken. The day it did i was cooking most of the day and going east for hay, his place being west i passed it only once and i saw Raoul there one of the new recruits. I didnt think much of it since i knew he had all rights and he was playing every day for last 5-6 days placing his chests on bruces claim tho outside.

Few days after Bruces place was cleared out i told Eulogi to kick Raoul from town since he hasnt loged in since the incident and he was so active before it, and the fact that i saw him that day on Bruces claim didnt help his case. I wasnt 100% sure but we had to kick someone and he was inactive anyway and didnt even start his own claim but only help us with some tree cutting and hunting animals that we used to feed him a bit.


Chapter Three : Bait the Justice Seeker

A day after Raoul was kicked a new forum post was made by him, he was looking to pay 10k silver to anyone willing to burn our town to the ground for kicking him for no reason, i didnt read much of that thread but after someone told me that Bait wanted to take the job iwe read a bit and i told the story of me meeting Bait to the rest of the town. By then i forgot my forum password and i could not reply and confront him about it.
Alot of days have passed since he made the thread and all we saw meanwhile was few more scouts then usual.

One day i logged in and i was only one online, i started moving around our town and i saw people raiding one of our town plots, it was the guy that was least active and only had 2-3 braziers and his claim was gone.
Iwe quicly run to my place and alerted ppl on skype that we were being raided. By the time everyone came online they have cleared another 2 plots both with 0-3 braziers and didnt yet start on any clain with more then 3 braziers. When 4 of us were online i wanted to go out and try to kill them, but Bruce just told me about summoning with 10 blocks of leantos and i didnt even have a leanto on my claim nor could i build one that was half good defended i didnt know anything about that. So we decided to just stay put not attack thinkin we could wait next day when they retire to build a vault for leantos.

I tried to stop the raiding by talking to Raoul and telling him i would return any item he had left behind twice and give him milion of other inspirationals that i was hoarding, but soon i realised that even tho he talked with me he had no intention of not continuing to raid us. After i didnt see any more of them i decided to log off.


Chapter Four : Karma is a *****

Few hours later i logged in and there were things to see, my first layer of walls was breached second was red, when i looked to the east there was 2 ppl standing there just outside my claim like they were waiting for me. This is when i saw a KO'd guy right outside my first gate that was allready destroyed. So they started the chat, some unknown guy said "if you send him home, we leave the village alone, you guys can live in peace. if not, we continue to destroy it". Once again i was only guy online, but this time i had the upper hand and i very well knew it. I decided to buy some time and talk to them untill ppl come online and this time we would attack them no matter what, there was no other option we were going to be burned down anyway.

So i started to chat with them alot, asking how can i trust that they will leave us, telling them it might be a trap to kill me and stuff like that, after every line i wrote they wrote 15, they seemed really desperate to save the guy and i knew i had a chance to continue with buying time. After an hour of chating with them i realised i had to buy more time, i asked if he was Bait, he said "I can be anyone", and then i told him "so did you choke on all those pies you stole from me?" and he replied "i didnt steal any of your pies...". So now i knew it was him and 2nd hand was dealt to change a conversation a bit and buy more time.

I started talking to him about my old place and what happend to me in details this time, that i remember all our conversation and i was just pushing conversation in that direction, at this time probably 2 hours have passed if not more and he never said anything to admit that he stole from me before. I told him that i knew it was him and asked him why does he keep saying it was not.

Next thing i know he askes me if i want to join a "real town" and i knew i was dealt a 3rd hand to buy more time, i started asking all kind of questions about it and telling him how i wanted to join him all along and if i do decide to join them and release a guy i wanted them to leave Bruce and Eulogi alone and he said yes ofcourse. At one point i actually tought of really doing it since it would save them from destruction and i tought of myself being responsible for all this mess becouse i said to Eulogi to kick Raoul from the town, but there was something that didnt let me do that, the fact that he kept lying to me about not stealing my stuff and i tought this was all too good to be true, so after a while he said he would give me the town owners hs so i can talk to him about joining, the 4th hand has been dealt i said i was going afk to eat and i would talk to him after that.


Chapter Five : The Devil Himself

After eating whole pig for 40 minutes (it was 4 in the morning i didnt leave my comp or eat anything) i came back and started talking to their town bossman. He said he was Staxjax from the forums and after promising to let me join their town he said that the reason why they were raiding us was becouse Eulogi spied on their town, i didnt understand what he ment so i told him i felt responsible for this raid for telling Eulogi to kick Raoul from town and asked him to spare Eulogi and Bruce after im gone, but he refused and said he was gonna burn them down anyway becouse Raoul was their spy all along and that all this was becouse of Eulogi spied on their town o0.

So my gut feeling about Bait lying was right, and also i now knew the whole story, i started talking about all kinda of random stuff and so did he about how pro they are with 15 walls around leantos and 19 active members, he also said he wouldnt tarnish his reputation when i said this is all too good to be true, like his reputation could be tarnished any more he just admited to me of being the guy that organised all the spying and stealing from our town and he wanted to burn us all for no reason beside that some1 scouted their town...

He was then afk for a while tending to his "crying baby" and just like before with talking to Bait he was writing 15 lines for every 2 of mine really trying to get me to release the guy, i tried again to ask him about sparing Bruce and Eulogi and he said if i released the guy he would think about it and cease fire for a while at least so he can go offline he was making dinner or something, like that would change my mind...after a while of me not responding he changed the "thinkin about sparing them" to full blown pardon and basicly giving me all i wanted...


Chapter Six : The Spirit Chief PeePooKaKa

Somewhere between my alleged eating session Bruce came online, and he contacted the only guy he tought could help us, as they say the enemy of our enemy is our friend. Chief came as quicly as he could and after seeing where the guy was positioned he told us to start building few braziers close to the wall where the KO'd guy was. By this time Eulogi and Ken came at hour nr5 we were just waiting for the Kel to come to plan the attack, i wanted to rush into them i didnt care about how many of them was there i wanted blood for what they did to us. After alot of calming me down i decided its better that we just kill the KOd guy first since we didnt really have leantos safe to be safe from summonings.

Most of you know this part, they made few alts and ended up walling out the door with corpses, Raoul ended up dying trying to protect his main char (KOd) and the rest of ppl there just run away (as i predicted they would after we killed the KOd guy) we let Chief do his thing so that we wouldnt leave any scents he also helped us clear their claim north and took back the chests and sleds. There is alot of this story that i didnt write, it would have taken me alot more time to do so, i hope you guys enjoy what i did write...




After seeing The Great Chief PeePooKaKa scalp a whole lot of men the rest of raiders scatered, runing for their lives. The Spirit Chief offered us their clothes, swords, axes and hats and said that he doesnt need these material things, he then continued to return our stolen chests from raiders camp together with our stolen sleds, and while we were busy moving the sleds he sliped into the forrest unseen and unheard just like the way he came to our aid, he is out there, behind every tree, around every rock, inside every shadow, noone is safe.

We would of actually let the guy live with us. Mushi said he was one of the cool ones.

Btk is down to 1 or 2 plots now. his was the 1st to fall when we restarted the attack

mmm stax I gotta say for definition of griefer I think burning out an entire town has to increase your stock unfortunately it is a general term and not specific to salem. Especially at the behest of someone like Pain,

Agreed using 1 claim in future. That was the noob in us not knowing better.

You may be using only 1 person now but at the beginning you guys definitely weren't. I really do think how braziers work now can't be WAD and if it is yikes. There needs to be an improvement in the way they activate. If Dallane knew what he/she was talking about and trespass was the actual first crime it would improve it slightly, but existing it is simply too easy to circumvent braziers activating in time.

Tonky are you in these guys village btw?

PS as an aside for Tonky, Stax and Crew from now investigating what sock puppeting is. I am also fairly certain they are guilty of that too. Mushi created a fake forum account. Posted a fake thread to increase your credibility pretending to be someone he isn't. You had your goons pile in and pretend to go along with it pretending not to have knowledge of one and another etc. Put that in the paper. Headline Headline this just in Moderator encourages his own town to break forum rules and regulations."

Stax (can you moderate yourself?), other moderators or Moo, punishment for sockpuppeting should probably be a permanent black mark on their forum account so people know to be weary when reading any of their posts.

Gonna comment on this. Every time one of us has broken a forum rule we have been punished by both stax and other mods. I had a IP ban for a day from sev after b4 he got butthurt after getting a slap on the wrist. Want to talk about abuse then i could bring that up with him refusing to lift it after i said i was coming for his town.

Where in the rules does it say you have to announce who you are playing with?

Moo punished sev when he announced Mushi's forum account spy that no one but us apparently saw since you guys are total morons.

Only reason you are crying about stax and being a mod is because thats the only chance you have at revenge for losing your town.

There is no way moo would of removed him for playing the game he is moderating for.

I sent the troops back in to finish the job and took your oil(inspirationals and food) and destroyed your town. Cept i'm not fighting a forever war and only lost 1 actual character.
